Saturday morning Shabbat services at Congregation Emanu-El, 1461 Blanshard St., begin at 9:30 am in the sanctuary. Lev will be most involved from around 10:15 am. Services end between 12:30-1:00 pm, after which a light lunch will be served in the social hall.

Visit the synagogue website  for historic background on Congregation Emanu-El (est. 1862), the oldest house of worship in British Columbia, and the oldest synagogue in continuous use in Canada. The synagogue is currently undergoing a major renovation, which we hope will not too greatly interfere with Shabbat services in June.
